Hi, I’m Hayley (she/her)
WARM, EMPATHIC, ACTIVE & ENGAGED
I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), holding a Masters from New York University.
My work is informed by psychodynamic theory, meaning I help clients understand how relationships and experiences in early life unconsciously impede our relationships and actions in the present.
Forever curious about the human experience, I am particularly interested in exploring the unique ways we seek to make meaning, formulate identity and survive and heal from experiences of adversity. Working with a wide range of creative, resilient, thoughtful clients allows me the opportunity to expand my understanding of what it means to be human and the myriad ways we work to heal, grow and sustain meaningful change.
While no two treatments ever look exactly alike, I bring my genuine curiosity, warmth, and humor into my work with all my clients. I encourage you to reach out for a consultation to see if it feels like the right fit.
Specializations
Corporate Stress
Are you a young professional feeling weighed down by the pressures of your career? Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by feelings of imposter syndrome, career stagnation, or paralyzed by perfectionism? If stress, fatigue, and a struggle to establish work/life balance are taking a toll on you, you're not alone.
I look to help working professionals establish a healthy relationship with work to live more balanced lives aligned with their true values.
Chronic workplace stress and burnout do not have to be your daily reality.
Sex, Sexuality & Gender
I am passionate about helping individuals explore the many ways in which they understand and express themselves.
Whether it’s unpacking internalized shame and stigma; working to reclaim your sexuality after trauma, or addressing issues of body image or gender dysphoria, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to help address the barriers preventing you from living as your most authentic, empowered self.
I have extensive experience working with clients who are LGBTQ+, kinky, sex workers, and/or are in polyamorous/CNM relationships.
Relationship Issues
Relationships are an important part of all of our lives. As social creatures, our very survival has been dependent on our ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships.
If you are struggling with communicating effictively, resolving conflict or developing intimacy and trust in relationships, you are not alone.
Incorporating elements of attachment and psychodynamic theory, I work to help clients develop insight and awareness into how past life experiences and relationships influence how we view ourselves and show up in our relationships romantic, platonic and/or familial at present day.
